Fridge Recycling Offloading System

 

Conveyor & hydraulic lift platform – Structural and mechanical design.

 

Detailed design of two platforms for offloading stacked fridges from ‘curtain-sided’ lorries. The platforms are designed to rise up and down and side shift to meet the lorries and also incorporate a conveyor system.

 

The project involved producing structural calculations and a computer model of the design allowed all aspects of the hydraulic scissor lift and side shift movements to be clash checked. All of the fabrication drawings were produced from this model which enabled any modifications to be efficiently incorporated for manufacture.
