6 No ‘Beam & Infill’ GRP Tank covers up to 13.6m diameter - Design and manufacture.

 

Walkway beams designed with non-slip surface and engineered to withstand personnel loads as well as connecting pipe work loads. The infill side panels are bolted together and to the central walkway beam, which with hand railing allows safe access to connecting pipe work for maintenance purposes.

 

This project involved the production of design proposals, structural calculations, and manufacture drawings. Inventor software allowed for the three sizes of cover to be designed with increased efficiency and helped in producing standard manufacturing master moulds. All aspects of manufacture, from mould dimensional checking to delivery packing diagrams were controlled by MSD personnel.
