Crane Cab Access

 

Steel & GRP access stairs & platform - Design, Manufacture & Installation.

 

The installation of new crane cabs on a Jack Up Rig brought about the requirement for new lightweight access stair and platforms assemblies. Working closely with our client we developed a proposal which was to be a combination of both steel and GRP materials to reduce overall weight.

 

The final design was both structurally checked and fully detailed in-house, with manufacture utilising a combination of our steel fabrication and GRP facilities. Test assembly was instigated in-house and assisted our site team during installation.
