Dive bell modifications for stability purposes – Survey, reporting and production of 3D model.

 

A detailed survey of a dive bell was carried out with subsequent production of a fully accurate computer model which was then used by a naval architect to check for stability issues. The model was then used to identify areas where additional buoyancy and ballast could be fitted in accordance with the stability report.

 

Buoyancy and ballast was subsequently designed and taken from drawings through to manufacture/fabrication, installation and subsequent successful testing.
