A Case Study – An Epoxy Filament wound pipe had failed in operation on an Offshore Facility. Client required an urgent repair in lieu of supply of new spoolpiece.

GRP Aberdeen Ltd repaired the unit using a stronger matrix than that originally supplied and returned it to the rig before manufacture of a new spoolpiece could progress and this maintained platform production and minimised downtime.
